DSL vs Satellite (not talking about dueling Internet)

OK, I now have DSL at the house… finally.  We were supposed to have phone service on August 31, but we didn’t get it until Sept. 7.  There was a bad line somewhere in the easement between our street and the street behind us.  Of course, since they didn’t get tone on the phone (hey, I’m a poet) until last Friday, they didn’t get my DSL up until yesterday.  But now I can actually do work and blog.

So here’s the problem.  We use Direct TV, and they have that great moving service.  My satellite got installed yesterday as well.  AND I now have an HD DVR.  So the quandary is this: I need to work and blog, but I also want to watch ESPN HD. THE FATES ARE SO CRUEL!!!! (I don’t really believe in the Fates, but it sounded good).
