There is a client of ours that I just picked up (I just got assigned to a couple of extra account managers). Supposedly we had been trying to get them to have an assessment done for a while. Well, their website got defaced the other day. Now they want a security assessment done in the worst way.

Hrmm…new SE…suddenly defaced and they want more…hmmmmmmm!
We’re so terrible about risk…it’s never something to think about until it burns you. Alarm system at home…not until there’s a breakin to violate our sense of safety…don’t really care about cancer research…until a close loved one is inflicted…blah blah.
It’s part of what makes me sad for humanity. :\
