I saw this article this morning about Fortinet making a deal in Cook County, Illinois. I don’t know how big this one is, and I know this is probably sponsored, but Fortinet seems to be making some big headway. I have had some clients talking to me about their stuff. I know a couple of guys that recently moved over there. I know Richard Stiennon moved over there a while back.
Any opinions?

A lot of hype really….They steal steal from trend micro and the like. Plus they hired channel killer Michael Valentine….downhill
We sell more of their gear than any other UTM. From a feature / price standpoint I think it is a great value. The UI is pretty good, product is stable (when sized appropriately) and support is on par compared to other vendors.
A couple of former Nitro sales people have moved over there.
