I think I am going to try this next time I fly.
All in all, the entire process took just over 10 minutes and got me through security significantly faster than going through the regular process.

I fly often and every time I show my ID. Not because I don’t have too, but because I want things to go easier for me. Last time I was at the airport, TSA and some dudes in suits tried to get me to admit I left some unmarked envelope at the security checkpoint. They wouldn’t tell me what was in it or what it looked like, other than pressuring me to say I left it. Airports suck.
